Role Overview

We are hiring a Backend Developer Intern skilled in PHP to build RESTful APIs, manage relational database structures, and engineer application logic for Xavirgin’s product backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, lightweight REST APIs in PHP (Framework or Native PHP).

• Design relational database schemas (MySQL) and write optimized SQL queries.

• Collaborate with Flutter and React developers to bridge frontend applications with backend services.

• Debug backend endpoint logic and handle data serialization.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Solid understanding of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Experience creating and consuming RESTful JSON APIs.

• Basic understanding of relational database management (MySQL).

• Familiarity with Git, Postman API testing, and basic backend server setup.

• Ability to meet the daily 4-hour work commitment and attend the mandatory 8:00 PM IST daily sync.
